Choosing the Colour, Embroidery and Silhouette of Your Bridal Lehenga

Bridal · 15 October 2026

A bridal lehenga is the outfit you will be remembered in. Because ours are made for one, almost everything can be decided with you. These are the choices to think about before you begin.

Colour

Red and gold remain classic, but many brides now choose rose gold, ivory, sage or soft blush. Consider your skin tone, the light of your venue and the time of day of your ceremony.

Embroidery and Handwork

Decide how much embroidery you want and where. Some brides want the lehenga embroidered from waist to hem; others prefer a quieter skirt with rich detail at the blouse and border.

Zardozi, dabka, beading, pearls and crystals each give a different texture. The more handwork, the more time it needs, so share your date early.

Silhouette, Neckline and Sleeves

The shape of the skirt, the neckline and the sleeves change how an outfit feels and moves. We shape these around your proportions and how you want to carry the outfit through the day.

Veil and Dupatta

A dupatta or veil finishes the look. Think about whether you want it sheer or embroidered, and whether you will wear it draped, pinned or as a long veil. We can design it to complement the lehenga.
