What a Custom Bridal Lehenga Costs in Mumbai
Bridal · 17 October 2026
The first thing most brides ask is how much a bridal lehenga will cost. It depends on a handful of choices, and you make most of them. Every outfit we make is made to measure, so there's no fixed price tag. Custom outfits at Farzeen Couture start from ₹25,000, and bridal lehengas with heavy handwork cost more.
What decides the price
Handwork usually matters most. Zardozi, dabka, pearl work and beading are all done by hand, and the more of the outfit they cover, the more hours they take. A skirt embroidered all over costs more than one with detail only on the blouse and border.
Fabric comes next. Silk, velvet, net and organza are priced differently, and a full skirt needs a lot of fabric and lining. The shape of the outfit adds up too. A can-can, a cape, a long train or a structured blouse all take extra pattern-making and stitching. A second embroidered dupatta or a cathedral veil is a separate piece of work, so each one adds to the total.
Timing plays a part as well. More handwork needs more time, and starting early lets the atelier work without rushing, which is better for the quality of the outfit.
Planning your budget
Decide which parts of the outfit matter most to you, such as the blouse, the border or the veil, and put the money there. Bring a photograph of the look you like and your wedding date. Once the design has been discussed, ask for a quote so you know exactly what it covers.
We make every outfit in Mumbai and deliver worldwide, so you can have the consultation from wherever you are. Share your inspiration and your date and we'll explain the price clearly before you decide.
